Blood Drive on Campus March 16-18

The winter storm and ongoing pandemic have depleted the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center’s shelves. The much-needed donation of blood helps patients in need in our community.   

This week from Tuesday, March 16th to Thursday, March 18th, the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center will be set-up in the H-E-B Student Union Ballroom from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Schedule an appointment, and you can donate blood and save up to three lives. You will also be eligible to receive the donation incentive this month, which is an Amazon gift card worth $10 for eligible donors.  

Over the past year, everyone has worked to “Do Your Part” to protect each other from COVID-19. Now is the time to “Do Your Part” and donate blood. Lend an arm and save a life! All campus COVID-19 protocols are being followed including mask-wearing, social distancing, and sanitizing in between each donor at all stations.
